2011 July Good Reviews – Goodman Ac Review

My home theater receiver gets hot because it doesn’t have a built-in fan, and there isn’t any air circulation in the shelf that I placed it. I’ve been looking around for a small USB fan that would do the job, but was too lazy to go online and order one. Addressing the concerns/comments others have posted about this – it is true that you can construct something like this for half the price; it’s just hard to duplicate this product when you consider the flexibility, convenience, and price. I found the design to be slightly lacking on one way: The air intake is at the top of the sponge. Hope it helps, When you live in Arizona, you feel that the heat is relentless in the summer, the heat makes you want to strangle yourself! So obviously when I got the handy cooler as a present I assumed that it wouldn’t really bring me any relief, but it surprising impressed me.

For being a portable fan, the price is too much in my opinion. The standing option is Ok. You can carry it around with you but when you wish to do things like cook in the kitchen or work on the computer, you can set it on a table in front of you and it will cool not only yourself but the air around you without the device falling all over the place. When the weather becomes REALLY hot (I am talking about 90+ degrees) I agree that this product will get replaced by the air-con that can cool the rest of the family and the house as well, however this product is fantastic as a self-cooler. The wind power isn’t very powerful but you do feel a breeze of cool air blowing out of it. I was worried that this would be too heavy but I realized that the product itself is very light, just the batteries that take of most of its weight.

This thing is really cool, and overall I think it’s worth having. You just need to wet the filter, put in the batteries, turn the switch on and it works. I say that as it brings the temperature down so cool air really is blown out of it at you. It’s totally different from the conventional fans which just circulate the air around and aren’t very useful if its already blaring hot.

Air won’t reach you. You have to hold it up to your face to feel anything.

For almost 50 bucks you would think it would last at least a year. I used this in Palm Springs, went to a family wedding outside at a park and all my family took it from me to use, My Aunt loved it so much I may purchase one for her for her birthday.

It was replaced without any questions. The new fan is as quiet as everyone says, not “whisper” quiet but still unobtrusive, and it is running smoothly. This fan produces a surprisingly great amount of breeze, especially after a long game of football. It has an adjusting fan speed setting (high for when I just finish playing sport, mid-range for normal cooling off) and works almost as well as an AC because the force of the breeze is quite strong.

The filters require cleaning but it’s easy if you follow the instructions. The only problem is that it doesn’t cool very well when it’s humid.

Otherwise there is no real breeze. At the highest setting it is also very loud with a high pitch whine.

The “Nature Mode” and “Night Mode” are made to simulate all-natural wind flows in an all-natural outdoor environment and are randomly selected patterns. It is $89 there with $10 dollars. CHEAP AIR CONDITIONING UNITS. The remote is great. It took a load off the central air. Windowless Air Conditioner.
